(Mac + Windows) How to Record Blueprint’s Built-in Telehealth Sessions

Run and record your telehealth meeting at the same time, all within one Blueprint tab using our built-in telehealth platform!

Updated over a week ago

With Blueprint’s built-in telehealth platform, you can run and record your sessions in one single tab -- no juggling multiple programs or extra setup.

Benefits of using Blueprint's built-in telehealth

If you’re deciding between using Blueprint’s built-in telehealth platform or a third-party option (like Zoom, Google Meet, or Doxy), here’s why the built-in option is usually the smoother choice: $

  • All-in-one: Host and record directly in Blueprint -- no third-party software required.

  • Automatic recording: Recording begins as soon as you admit your client into the meeting.

  • Clearer audio: Blueprint captures the client's voice separate from the clinician's for the most accurate Transcripts and Progress Notes.

  • Fewer clicks: No confusing pop-ups or extra browser tabs to manage.

How to run and record a telehealth session using Blueprint's built-in telehealth platform

  1. From your Sessions Dashboard, click "Start Video Session"

  2. Select an existing client or add a new one

  3. Check your camera and microphone options by playing the test sound and speaking out loud

  4. When you're ready to join the telehealth meeting, click "I'm all set"

  5. If your client is already in the waiting room you'll immediately see a blue pop-up in the lower-right that says "Someone's in the waiting room."

If your client hasn't joined the waiting room yet, the blue pop-up will appear when they do join.

Whenever you're ready, click the "Admit" in the blue pop-up or within the "People" panel (also located in the lower-right corner.)

  6. That’s it! After clicking "Admit", your telehealth session and the recording will begin.
