Would you like more control and customization of how your Notes are generated? You can type out your edits and preferences one time, and then Blueprint can automatically apply them to all future Notes with Memory!
In this article, we'll review:
Before we begin
To access and utilize Memory, Transcripts must be enabled for your clinic.
What is "Memory"?
Memory sits on top of Magic Edit and lets you optionally save edits for future sessions. This was previously called note preferences. Memory can work just like note preferences, but it's more flexible and customizable for your use cases.
Whether you prefer shorter or longer notes, don't want any direct client quotes, or want to refer to yourself as "therapist", memory will generate consistent language for your sessions.
Just type in the box, and the notes will start to get more personalized to you over time. You can keep tweaking and providing feedback as you go!
With Memory, you can customize:
How Notes refer to you
How Notes refer to those you care for
The length of your Notes
The length of Medical Necessity
How to describe the client's Diagnostic Symptoms
The length of Action Items
The inclusion of Direct Quotes
Which sections of the Mini Mental Status Exam should be included in the Note
How to adjust your Memory settings
Go to any Note you've previously generated
At the bottom of the page, click Magic Edit
Type in your edit instructions to personalize the note. If you'd like, try selecting one of the examples below the text box
Check the box next to "apply to this note only" or "apply to this note and all future notes for all clients."
If you need to remove any items from memory, click Manage
Click Generate new note
And that's it! ๐ Blueprint will now remember and apply these preferences when generating your future Notes. This does not use additional sessions, so make as many edits as you'd like!
Notes are auto-generated using AI and should always be reviewed and, if needed, edited for accuracy before saving to the clientโs record in your EHR.
FAQ
Will my "memory" settings apply to everyone at my clinic, or just me?
Will my "memory" settings apply to everyone at my clinic, or just me?
Memory settings are user-level settings, so they will only apply to Notes that you generate. Every clinician can save their own Memory edits.
