Blueprint captures your client's audio from your computer’s speakers. When you’re wearing headphones, no sound plays through the speakers, so you need to allow it to record directly from the browser tab itself.
Blueprint recorded my audio but not my client's... what happened?
Blueprint recorded my audio but not my client's... what happened?
There are a couple of reasons Blueprint was able to record your audio but not your client's:
You used Blueprint on a phone or tablet to record a telehealth session.
You cannot record telehealth sessions on a mobile device because as soon as you switch from the Blueprint website to your telehealth app or website, Blueprint loses access to record. A microphone warning surfaces in the Blueprint window when this happens, but you're unable to see it because you're looking at your telehealth session.
To avoid this in the future, use a computer when recording telehealth sessions. You used Blueprint on a computer to record a telehealth session, but you used headphones and your telehealth platform was a program installed on your computer (e.g., Zoom).

To avoid this in the future, make sure you select the correct tab when sharing audio.
You're not using a compatible internet browser.
We recommend using Google Chrome as it's the browser most compatible with Blueprint, especially when conducting telehealth sessions.
💡 If any of these things happened to you, it's likely that your Note didn't turn out as you'd hoped. Not to worry -- you can generate another Note by dictating a brief summary of the session. Just go to your Sessions Dashboard and click Dictate Notes.
How can I test my client's audio?

I use Zoom to conduct telehealth sessions, can I still use Blueprint to record and generate notes for those sessions?
I use Zoom to conduct telehealth sessions, can I still use Blueprint to record and generate notes for those sessions?
Yes, Blueprint can still record your session and generate Progress Notes if you use Zoom as your telehealth platform. However, if you're using headphones, make sure to open your Zoom meeting in your internet browser, not the Zoom program which may be installed on your computer.
To open a Zoom meeting in your browser, after you click the link to join your Zoom meeting, Zoom may present a pop-up prompting you to open or install the Zoom desktop client -- click Cancel. Instead, at the bottom of the page, click the Join from your Browser link. Full instructions on how to use the Zoom web client are here on Zoom's website: Getting started with the Zoom web client
