How to start a new Video Session with Blueprint's native telehealth platform

  1. There are two ways to begin a new Video Session:

    1. From your Sessions Dashboard, click the Start Video Session button on the upper-right corner of the page, then select the client

    2. From the client's profile, click the Start Session button in the upper-right corner of the page, then select Start Video Session

  2. You should now be on the "Check your camera and mic" page

    1. Make sure that your preferred camera, microphone, and speaker are selected in the three drop-downs

    2. Test your microphone by speaking out loud -- the green audio bar should light up near your microphone drop-down

    3. Test your speaker by clicking the Play Test Sound button -- the button text will change to "Playing" while a simple chime sound plays

    4. When you're ready to join the Video Session, click I'm all set

    5. You may be prompted by your browser to grant it access to your camera and mic. If so, enable the access to move forward with the session.

  3. You should now be on the "Video Session" page showing a preview of your video

    1. Upon entering, you'll be the only person in the Video Session

    2. When your client joins the Session (or if they're already in the waiting room), allow them to enter the Session by clicking Admit in the lower-right corner near the People icon

    3. Recording will start automatically once your client joins

  4. When your session is complete, click End Session in the bottom menu bar

    1. Select the Session Type, Note Type, and Treatment Approach in the drop-downs, then click Generate Note

    2. That's it! 🎉 Your Progress Note, Summary, and Transcript will then begin to generate. (This can take a couple minutes. Feel free to exit that tab and come back to your Note later -- it'll continue generating while you're away.)
