How to change the Note Type, Individual or Couples session, update the modality after the note has already been generated.

How to change the Note Type for a Progress Note that's already been generated

  1. On the Progress Note you'd like to change, near the top of the note by the current Note Type, click Change

  2. Choose your preferred option from the Note Type dropdown

  3. Click Generate New Note. After a minute or two, a new version of the note will appear.

For example, watch as I regenerate my existing Progress Note from the DAP Note Type to the SIRP Note type:


How to change the Session Type for a Progress Note that's already been generated

  1. On the Progress Note you'd like to change, near the top of the note by the Note Type, click Change

  2. Choose your preferred option from the Session Type dropdown

  3. Click Generate New Note. After a minute or two, a new version of the note will appear.

For example, watch as I regenerate my existing Progress Note after changing it from an Individual session to a Couples session:


How to change the Treatment Approach for a Progress Note that's already been generated

  1. On the Progress Note you'd like to change, near the top of the note by the Note Type, click Change

  2. Choose your preferred option from the Primary Treatment Approach dropdown

  3. Click Generate New Note. After a minute or two, a new version of the note will appear.

For example, watch as I regenerate my existing Progress Note after changing the Primary Treatment Approach from CBT to DBT:

I made changes to my Note but I need to revert back to the original version... is that possible?

Yes, you can go back to a previous version of the Progress Note anytime using the version dropdown in the lower-left corner of the Progress Note!
