To avoid interruptions in your service, all Plans will automatically upgrade to the next Tier if you exceed your monthly Session limit.
Here’s everything you need to know about auto-upgrades!
💡 What's an auto-upgrade? Why does it happen?
An auto-upgrade is an increase in your Plan that happens automatically when all of the Sessions in your current Plan have been used before the end of your monthly billing cycle.
This ensures that you can continue using Blueprint with your clients, even if you've gone over your current Plan's limit.
💙 What to expect when your Plan is auto-upgraded
When your Session limit is exceeded and an auto-upgrade occurs:
Your Plan is auto-upgraded to the next Tier and will remain your Plan moving forward unless you manually change it
Your card on file is charged immediately for the full price of your new Plan
Your billing cycle is reset (so that you get a whole month to use everything included in your new Plan!)
💡 For example:
Let's say your Plan includes 30 Sessions per month and your billing date is the 17th of each month.
On the 12th (just a few days before your Plan is scheduled to reset) you use your 31st Session of the month.
At that moment, a few things happen:
Your Plan is auto-upgraded to the next Tier (45 Sessions per month) and will remain your active Plan unless you manually change it
Your card on file is charged immediately for the full price of your new Plan
Your billing cycle is reset, making the 12th of each month your new billing date (unless you make other changes to your Plan, at which point your billing date resets again)

Can I turn off auto-upgrades?
No, auto-upgrades are a core part of how our Plans are designed. They ensure you don’t experience service interruptions just because you hit your Session cap.
That said, you have full control of your Plan and can downgrade anytime if the upgraded Plan isn’t right for you.
